Saudi Arabia leads 6 MENA nations among the 25 most contributing to pollution around the world.

In a new report issued by Greenpeace on the top polluting countries in the Middle East and North Africa, the following lead the list: Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, Kuwait, Qatar, Iraq and Morocco. With Saudi Arabia at the top of the list, it releases almost 1,800 kilotons of sulfur dioxide into the atmosphere compared to the second country on the list, the UAE, at 400 kilotons.
